  • Triple antibiotic ophthalmic with hydrocortisone, also known as neomycin and polymyxin B with bacitracin and hydrocortisone (brand names Trioptic-S®, Vetropolycin®) is a combination antimicrobial medication with a steroid (hydrocortisone) used to treat certain types of bacterial infections. It is used to treat eye infections and inflammation of the eye surrounding the eye in cats, dogs, and other animals.

  • Triple antibiotic ophthalmic ointment, also known as neomycin and polymyxin B with bacitracin or gramicidin (brand names Neosporin Ophthalmic Ointment, Neo-Polycin Ophthalmic Ointment, Trioptic-P, Vetropolycin), is a combination antimicrobial medication used to treat certain types of bacteria (gram-positive and gram-negative). It is used to treat eye infections, eyelid infections, and infections of the tissue surrounding the eye (conjunctiva). Caution when using this medication in cats as allergic reactions have been reported.

  • Tropicamide is applied in the eye and is used off label to dilate the eye and to prevent and treat scarring after cataract surgery. Give as directed by your veterinarian. Common side effects include drooling, eye dryness, temporary stinging sensation upon initial application to the eye, light sensitivity, and blurry vision. Do not use in pets that are allergic to it or that have glaucoma. If a negative reaction occurs, please call your veterinary office.

  • Tylosin is an antibiotic given by mouth or by injection in small mammals and is used off label to treat diarrhea and inflammatory bowel disease. Common side effects include decreased appetite and diarrhea. Do not use in pets that are allergic to it. If a negative reaction occurs, call your veterinary office.

  • Ultra-micronized palmitoylethanolamide (PEA-um), brand name Redonyl Ultra, is a nutraceutical used to support skin health in dogs and cats. PEA-um comes in oral chewable and powder forms. It is used "off label" or "extra label".

  • UroMAXX is a supplement used to support bladder and kidney function in cats and dogs. It has been used to support the treatment of urinary tract infections in cats and dogs. UroMAXX comes in oral chewable and liquid drop forms. It is used “off label” or “extra label”.

  • Ursodiol is given by mouth and is used off label to treat gallbladder and biliary liver diseases. Give as directed by your veterinarian. Side effects are uncommon, but may include diarrhea and mild discomfort. Do not use in pets that are allergic to it or other bile acid products, or in rabbits, guinea pigs, or rodents. If a negative reaction occurs, please call your veterinary office.

  • Vitamin B complex injectable is a solution containing multiple forms of Vitamin B, which are used together to prevent or treat Vitamin B deficiencies. These vitamins promote good overall health for your pet and regulate certain processes in the body. Vitamin B complex injectable comes as a solution for injection either under the skin or into the muscle.

  • Vitamin C injectable is a vitamin supplement used as an antioxidant to help treat certain toxicity syndromes or to create a more acidic urine in dogs and cats. It is also used in guinea pigs to treat scurvy. Vitamin C injectable comes as a solution for injection either under the skin or into the muscle. Injections may be given by veterinary personnel or at home by pet owners.

  • Voriconazole is given by mouth or injection and is used off label to treat fungal infections. Side effects are not well-known but may include vomiting, diarrhea, or decreased appetite. Do not use in pets that are allergic to it or in cats unless absolutely necessary. If a negative reaction occurs, please call your veterinary office.
