Licensed Veterinary Technician
I was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. I am one of Greenfields LVT’s and also a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP).
Greenfield has been my home for practice since 2012. I took a small break from the field for a few months but started back with them again in September of this year (2021). What I love most about working here is that all animals who come through our door are treated as if they were our own pets. The staff truly cares about the patients. I absolutely love working one on one with my fitness/rehabilitation patients and watching their progress along the way.
I have worked in vet medicine since I was 16 years old as an assistant until I went on to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology back in 2001. However my education in the field did not stop there. I completed my CCRP in 2016 and have been working to help dogs in Canine rehabilitation therapy. Being able to be a voice for animals has always driven my passion in the Veterinary Medicine field. If I could change one thing, it would be to help all of the pets, but unfortunately that is one thing that makes this field so difficult.
As for myself, I have several critters who live among me and my family. We currently have 5 dogs; Redford, Chloe, Bridger, Scout, Hamilton, and of course our newest addition Bean. We have 5 Cats; Chester, Briar, Fern and the twins Stella and Rocky. Along with the fur type we also have some feathered family members … About 50 of them, CHICKENS. Its safe to say there really is never a dull moment at our house.
